An informal study performed on a cross-section of subjects showed dicon to have provided remarkable relief for all forms of stomach ailments such as constipation, diarrhea, gas and bloating. Based on these initial studies, the decision was made to perform a double-bind, placebo-controlled clinical study to ascertain and document the efficiency and benefits of dicon.

“The clinical trial was administered by Dr. Warren Z. Jacobsohn, MD, Director of Institute of Gastroenterology (Ret.) in Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel. Dr. Jacobsohn was selected for his expertise in the field of gastroenterology and in particular for his experience with a myriad of patients with general stomach ailments. The statistics were compiled and reviewed by Mario Baraz, leading statistician for Hadassah Ein Keren Hospital in Jerusalem.

The findings demonstrated statistically significant improvement in subjects suffering from IBS-constipation with positive trends for patients exhibiting symptoms of IBS-diarrhea. Patients also exhibited improvements after cessation of their treatment, indicating that taking dicon may have long-term benefits.”
